Herdabout Bergamasco Sheepdogs

Join us in happy celebrations !   Herdabout Frida dell' Albera has earned the  FIRST-IN-THE-NATION AKC Bergamasco Best of Breed distinctions in the Miscellaneous Class debut on January 8 & 9, 2011 !  Our own beautiful representatives, Dulcetta (GiGi) and Metteo also made their marks in the Bergamasco History Books with their wins on January 14 & 15, 2011--GiGi winning the FIRST Breeder/Owner/Handler Best of Breed AND the Bergamasco's FIRST Best in Miscellaneous Class, and Metteo being the FIRST Male BOB Bergamasco winner !  Let's all get out there and have fun and show the AKC what great dogs these Bergamascos really are !!

Frida also dazzled in the NAKC arena, winning not one but TWO Jr. Puppy Best In Shows on January 22nd, AND (it gets better) an NAKC ADULT Reserve Best in Show (at 10 months old) !!  Congratulations to Frida, and to Dawn and Jeff !

Lastly, we are basking in the glow of 4 new UKC Bergamasco Champions--all from our recent, already very legendary 'F-Troop'.  Congrats to:

CH Herdabout Fidelio dell' Albera (our own beloved Fidelio)--attaining the youngest-ever UKC Championship on 10/3/10
--6 months, 1 week old, and currently the #1-ranked Bergamasco in UKC's 2011 Top Ten !
CH Herdabout Forte dell' Albera (and a hearty welcome to Forte's new family, too), 1/22/11,
